First of all, I don't think it's a hardware problem, but this is where you buy a development environment. The documentation is terrible and NVIDIA tutorials often don't work and you have to search the internet for working third party documentation to do basic things like NVIDIA's own tutorials. Get ready to see surge alerts! a lot of. Yes, with the supplied power adapter. NVIDIA's downside in this product line is that absolutely every step becomes painful and time-consuming for a new AI mimic. There seems to be reasonable support on the forums, but why their documentation doesn't work is confusing. The best resource I found for this device and its software is on GITHUB. Basic things like downloading NVIDIA apps for the device are not followed by step-by-step instructions. Even OS images seem to be a problem for some on the forums. TIP Use the SDK for the recommended bare metal installation of Ubuntu for flashing or suffering. Some things that should be easy just don't work!
