I bought this monitor to replace my old Eizo Color Edge CG210. Eizo makes great monitors. This 2420 is very easy to calibrate, easy to set up and a good size. I would give it 5 stars but as a MacBook Pro user I had such trouble getting the cable. Prior to purchasing the monitor I spoke to Eizo customer service and asked if they had the correct cable for new Macs and was told they did. I received the monitor and there was no USB-C cable, Thunderbolt only a mini display for older MacBooks. These cables can be bought online, but I needed to use the monitor right away and had to find the cable at Office Depot. The first cable I had didn't work, but the second did. Eizo recommends connecting J5create or StarTech USB-C to DisplayPort/DVI. You cannot use an adapter, this monitor needs to be connected with a single cable. I hope my experience saves time for others, so don't forget to buy a cable when you buy a monitor when using a new Macbook Pro.
