This is a great Wi-Fi adapter if you are looking for Linux laptop, desktop or even Raspberry PI compatibility. Although there are no drivers for this device in the Linux kernel (meaning it will not work out of the box), the company's support team provides very clear instructions, and the driver installation process takes 5-10 minutes. The instructions use a script to install the required packages (the vendor provides a Debian package with the required source code and uses DKMS to compile the kernel module). I've used this on Ubuntu 20.10 and 21.04, both worked fine. I also used it on a RaspberryPi which worked great. However, I haven't tried updating the kernel yet, so I can't report how well it works (I always worry about DKMS). I'll try to remember to update this after I've done a few. The signal was excellent and better than the internal RaspberryPI Wifi adapter and another adapter I tested. I was able to increase throughput through this device by about 3x compared to the internal RaspberryPI WiFi adapter and by about 40Mbps more than another USB device I've tried (all on and from the same RaspberryPI place in my house). ). All in all a great device. If you're trying to get maximum speed out of a low-signal situation, this is a good device.
