This is a Champion Series dresser kit - all connector kits are NOT interchangeable, even "universal ".

The Champion series requires extra tight bolting of the tank to the base. Etosi lowers the tank to a raised rib at the front and a raised ledge at the rear of the base to prevent the tank from rocking. It also compresses the large gasket that covers the water holes between the tank and bowl and compresses the damn rubber shank washers that sit under the bolts. After tightening the screws, they shrink to about half their thickness, so don't try to reuse them. and align as much as possible and that the screws (still loose) are aligned vertically and not at an angle, which indicates that the tank is not in the correct position. how tight do you tighten Too much and you'll crack the tank, the base, or both. Use a small ratchet and a socket wrench with an extension. Almost anything else and you are more likely to break or destroy the tank or base. Tighten the tabs firmly by hand using a socket wrench and an extension, not a ratchet. Then put on the ratchet and tighten each screw a little by going back and forth between the screws - this keeps the pressure even. When the reservoir is almost touching the tabs on the back, slowly tighten it even more and slide a piece of paper over the tab to see if the reservoir is still touching it. Continue until you get to the point where the paper can't slip through anymore - THEN STOP! Never touch this screw again unless you remove it and install a brand new kit. This is more torque than you might expect and more than most toilets require.
