I would say they are a bit large, I wear size 8 1/2 to 9 in tennis shoes and I have to make smaller socks their truth does not show and not the ankles. I still LOVE her. I'm very picky about stitches and can't stand them! However, these socks are perfect, no seams and I can wear them all day with no problems, I've even washed and dried them several times and I can still wear them with no problems.
