The quality of this product is decent and once you figure out how it works it's easy enough to insert and remove the microphone. I have no problems with the microphone falling out of the holder. I am writing this review as someone who has never used a microphone before purchasing this product. I bought a new microphone along with this product to find out how shock absorbers work. To be honest it's not the most convenient way for people like me who don't know how something like this works. I actually had to look up a shock guide on YouTube to figure out how this thing opens. I couldn't see that there were two ends of the clamp that I had to squeeze to expand. When I finally figured it out, it was easy; However, I think this product could use a bit of polish, whether it's the product itself or a good, easy-to-follow quick start guide for those who may not be familiar with similar products.
