Review on Radix Slim Wallet Smoke Black Men's Accessories for Wallets, Card Cases & Money Organizers by Kaylon Mackey

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Totally basic map case

I've never liked thin front pockets/map cases just because they never held enough maps. There was always a maximum of 4 or 5 cards, and the wallets I always kept a chokehold on the cards, making it very inconvenient to access them quickly. On a typical day I have to carry at least about 8 cards around with me, so the usual thin wallet doesn't fit me. I've been using the traditional double fold for a while and I'm just tired of it. They are bulky and uncomfortable to sit on. I started looking for other options and saw this. It's absolutely awesome. I realize it's just two pieces of plastic and a silicone strap, but it's so simple and so functional that I never would have thought of it before. Cards slide in and out very easily. It might seem tedious that sometimes you have to remove all the cards to find the one you want, but they slide in and out so smoothly and easily that it only takes a few seconds. They advertise with a capacity of 4-10 cards. 4 standard sized credit cards is definitely a functional minimum, but this thing can certainly hold more than 10 cards. I would put it closer to 15. I'd love to see a carbon fiber option but the black looks very smooth so I'm definitely happy with it. My only real complaint is the price. $13 for two pieces of plastic and silicon strap? This is most likely less than $1 in materials costing the end user $13. However, the design is really quite simple and if I don't have to carry a thick, heavy folding bag with me anymore, it's definitely worth it.
