I like it! It's a skinny bar and I think the description says it's 31 inches long so I bought it. My space was 34 7/8 inches long and ended up taking up 34 1/2 inches of space. This is not the length of the mounted bar, but includes round mounting brackets from edge to edge. I couldn't fully twist the bars either. Looks like the black paint got in the way. If I tightened it it would change length, but I didn't want to use tools. This could scratch the paint off the bars. It didn't really matter screwing it all the way down because it was very tight and secure. You can see multiple threads on all ports. I love this hanging rod!
