I have thought long and hard about buying Norwex. I was almost tested when I decided to try one of these first and they did NOT disappoint. I have one for kitchen surfaces, one for the bathroom, one for the toilet, one for the kennel, and one for the yoga mat. I take a spray bottle of water and wash everything. There was even a nasty gastrointestinal virus, and it didn't spread to the rest of the family after it was cleaned from these puppies. I gave one to my mother in law and she said it was the best Fiat tag she's ever had; She likes that it doesn't spread dust in the air and in the air. This is the main product in my house. I just throw them in a hot wash and they're fine again. Highly recommended. If you're on the fence, just give it a try. The difference between them and Norwex is that they contain no silver. However, if you use it and then wash it (like Norwex recommends after cleaning meat juices), you don't even need to. Also, I haven't seen any information on whether the silver actually cleans the rag. Most of the research I've seen relates to how effective a product is at removing bacteria from a surface. E-cloth showed similar results when tested by Good Housekeeping. Overall I think this is a smarter purchase than Norwex and a great product.
