Foam is good and thick. It protects your valuable electronics and doesn't flake or collect dust, which was a big issue for me since I keep my camera in it. I don't like how you analyze it. You really need to use a razor to get it right. I suppose they made it so yours couldn't fall apart so easily. Mine didn't fit exactly but I don't know the model of my case either, I took the picture in the dark and I think I was wrong. I'm not deducting a single star for that. It just didn't convince me, but it's foam, so it has little chance anyway.
