About half of the reviews I read said it was awful (streaks and/or cloudy). About half thought it was great. Our experience with him was good. Some also felt that the high gloss was too shiny. My husband applied it to newly laid birch hardwood floors. The top coat on the bottom is very thin so we needed some sort of protection and the finish was pretty dull. It turned out really well. There were a few spots that didn't come out smooth, but I think you can put that down to how well the person is applying it rather than the quality of the product itself. Overall it looks very nice and not too shiny, maybe because our starting point was so boring? Husband applied two coats to add shine.
