I bought this AT&T-Lucent 27910 to replace a worn out battery in my ATT portable phone that barely lasted 2 minutes on a charge. Follow the instructions and let it charge. Now I can talk through the speaker for an hour and it still has a charge in it. Much cheaper than a phone replacement and works great. To update. After about 9 months of use, the battery no longer works. The phone shows "Check battery". The battery that came with the phone lasted 5 years. This only lasted 9 months. This time I decided to get a new telephone system.
