The last toiletry case I had was one that could easily spill over when you opened it, which resulted in a ton of my skincare products and makeup falling into a hotel toilet on my last trip. so after that very upsetting and costly incident, I wanted to find a toiletry case with a lot of pockets and deeper spaces for holding things put. I also love that you can hang this on a doorknob or hook, with products staying put inside, so you don't have to leave it on a narrow hotel bathroom counter (and risk having it fall into the toilet!) This definitely fits the bill in all aspects, plus it's well made, so I'm really glad I chose this case. It looks small but it holds a lot of stuff. The main pocket is deep so you can really pile a lot of 3oz travel tubes and containers in there.For shorter trips, I can pack all of my makeup and toiletry needs in it-- that includes small bottles of shampoo, conditioner, soap, face wash, SPF cream, night cream, eye cream, toothpaste, toothbrush, eye drops, and a handful of other odds and ends plus makeup basics. For longer trips (2+ weeks) where I will want to bring a lot of skin care and hair products for different scenarios, this will do nicely with a separate small case for cosmetics. My larger "tubs" of full sized skin care pile in here easily just in case I ever want to leave it in my checked bag and bring full sized products.When I opened the box after receiving it I thought for sure it was going to be too small but it's definitely not. I would recommend this to friends and would give it as a gift.
