The instruction is needed only for the time of "addiction", tk. Janome has its whims. It is necessary to fine-tune everything according to the instructions, check the compliance of the thread / fabric / needle. This ensures perfect work with any fabrics. This is the third (!) machine of this company. The previous ones had to eventually be sold when moving. But everyone worked great.
My sewing experience is over 30 years. I can definitely say that this model is perfect for home use.
"Space" speed is not required for such work, because it is used not for the "flow", but for oneself and the family.

Pros

1. Horizontal shuttle (does not tangle the thread), which is convenient to insert and control the end of the thread; 2. Weight 8 kg, which ensures the stability of the machine during operation. (She does not dance on the table even during the fast stitching of the seam). 3. The presence of several additional paws (for sewing in a zipper, for creating a loop, etc.). That, without which I generally managed for many years on an old "Seagull". It's a definite convenience. The paws are easily changed according to the needs of the seamstress. 4. Easy to care for. Does not require lubrication! Periodic brushing only (included) 5. Value for money.
