Review on AfriGIS by Harald Patterson

I like how easy it is to use, even for those who know nothing about GIS or remote sensing. It's also very user friendly with good tutorials available online. One of my favorite features in this program are the ability to create maps from scratch as well as importing/exporting data files. The interface could be more intuitive and easier to navigate. In addition, there should probably be some way to make notes directly into your map. This would help keep track of things you need to remember after viewing the map. We're using afrigis to manage our geospatial assets (maps) so we can better understand where they are located and what needs to be done next.
