Review on πŸ“· Spider Holster - Tripod Carrier Attachment + BlackWidow Camera Holster: Effortlessly Access Your Tripod Anywhere! by Hector Mak

Great product with a few small flaws.

I bought the SpiderHolster to keep my hands free when hiking or strolling to the farmers market. It's great for freeing up your arms and hands and I've found that when I use the holster I don't get as tired at the end of a long day of hiking. I was a bit apprehensive about hanging the camera on my belt, but after a few uses I no longer had those concerns. The locking system is difficult enough to use that someone can't just open the camera and run away with it. But that also means the shutter is stiff enough to pull the camera out of the holster with one hand. The holster features a locking screw that can be adjusted to release the latch when shooting in an environment where you don't have to worry about camera theft or accidentally leaving the holster. This would make one-handed removal a breeze. I have two small comments about the holster. 1) The latch is rigid enough that two hands are required to remove the camera from the holster, one on the camera and the other to operate the latch. This may become easier as the device is used more frequently. 2) It's really a matter of personal preference - I wear a leather strap and didn't buy a fabric strap from the manufacturer. When I use the SpiderHolster on a leather belt, it doesn't slide over the belt as easily, making it more difficult to fit the holster on my hip than if I were using a woven belt. The loops on the rabbit holster are designed for a narrower and larger belt. My belt is wider and the notch separating the two widths cuts into the belt making it almost impossible to slip once you buckle the belt. Overall I am very happy with the holster and will be using it for a long time. Time.

Pros
