I read the reviews and suggestions to just replace the rubber seal and I can definitely say I was glad I took advantage of the offer to go the easy way. I'm pretty sure the original key fob that came with the car is glued together at the factory, making it almost impossible to disassemble unless you're very good with hand tools and sharp knives. All you have to do is use a small jeweler's screwdriver. or an exacto knife to pry open the silver trim around the buttons, and then pry up the button retainer that sits under the button elastic. Once you have done this, simply remove the keypad from the new fob and install it into the original fob. You'll need to assemble the lining, brace, and silver trim into one piece for them to snap into place. It's not hard work at all if you do it this way. I recommend this keychain as a good replacement.
