I got this item because my 6 month old pup goes with me everywhere. She is a great dane so she is a big girl but i figured having a bag to cary her stuff it would be great so when we go out i just have to grab the bag and go. The bowls are tiny. It wouldnt hold enough food or water for my 12lb dog so definately not big enough for what i need. For the price i didnt expect the bowls to be huge but i can hold the cups in the palm of my hand they are so small that my little dog wouldnt even have enough food or water for 1 sitting it holds 3/4 of a measuring cup of water. The bowls wont work unless you have a tea cup dog that might weigh under 3 or 4 lbs. The bag is a decent quality but the food and treat holders will only hold less than a cup or a cup and a half of food. Picture 1 is the food and water bowl in my hand, photo 2 is the bowl full. I used a 1 cup measuring cup and I wasnt able to put the whole cup of water in. The 3rd picture is the 1 cup measuring cup inside the bag that holds the food. So the bag will work to cary stuff but you will still need to purchase other bowls and put in a bag big enough for the food you will need for your trip. You could spend less money on a back pack to carry what you need.
