I walk a mile to and from work. Sometimes even a ride. I've been wearing them for a month or two and now the soles of the shoes are smooth and slippery. They also began to hurt as the soft material hardened. So far they've held up differently, but they're uncomfortable and the tread pattern on the bottom is just for show. Maybe for hiking on soft grass or on the beach, but not for everyday city dwellers and certainly not for rocks. I walk gravel every day and this stuff gets stuck between my feet and boots and I can feel it. I give it credit where it should be. Walking through the store, I managed to slip a screw with a blunt end into my sandals. I felt it, but it wasn't enough to touch my legs. So I think it's something.
