The sound is dominated by the bass which makes the highs feel a little dark and reserved but the way they are tuned makes the vocals shine . I use it to make calls all day. The weight and the ability to bend the headband to your desired tension make it incredibly comfortable. You can adjust how tight they are. The boom mic is excellent when you get it out of the way of nose and mouth breathing. The boom mic picks up the full body of your voice as well as the high frequencies. My voice has never sounded so good on the phone, and with a 15kHz limit on phone calls, the muffled nature of the audio setting really muffles the harshest cell phone voices. I didn't use the built-in microphone because I want the best audio translation I can get on calls. The build quality is top notch and the aesthetics are top notch. I now also use these for gaming, which works well if I don't want to isolate myself from the sound with over-ear headphones or headphones.
