Only works with original controller. If your controller has an A at the end of the part number on the back, this kit will not work. Your controller will NOT turn on. The motherboard and the structure inside are different between the original controller and the new white and colored controllers. Just remove the kit and the controller is fine. Otherwise, this kit works perfectly in the original controller that came with the PS5 and installed according to YouTube's instructions. I had no issues with this kit in the original controller that came with my PS5. The second controller I own had a part number ending in A and was purchased as an add-on when I bought the PS5 and the kit did not work with that controller. This new style controller I received had silver screws instead of black and was redesigned internally. You can install this kit but it will not work.
