Review on Annamaet 33 Original Cat Food by Nailah Mejia

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Two of my three cats ate it straight away; Ingredients acceptable

I have three cats and two of them are picky eaters. One is so bad it's hard to find food he likes. Well, the one who constantly refuses food has refused that food (see photo where he ignores food). However, the other two ate it immediately, which is very unusual. The food smells faintly fishy to me despite being a mixture of chicken meal and brown rice. The kibble is triangular in shape as shown in my photo and meets the nutritional values set forth in AAFCO's "All Life Stages" cat food nutrient profiles - per pouch. That's 400 calories per cup. This food is made in America from ingredients in the US and around the world. Ingredients: Chicken Meal, Brown Rice, Chicken Fat (Canned with Mixed Tocopherols), Rolled Oats, Millet, Whitefish Meal, Pearl Barley, Dried Whole Egg, Herring. Flour, Dried Beet Pulp, Menhaden Oil (Canned With Mixed Tocopherols), Dried Brewer's Yeast, Pea Protein, Marine Microalgae, Lecithin, Dried Cranberries, Dried Blueberries, Natural Flavors, Potassium Chloride, L-Lysine, DL-Methionine, Taurine, Lactobacillus Acidophilus Dehydrated Fermentation Product, Fructooligosaccharides, L-Ascorbyl-2-Polyphosphate (Source of Vitamin C), Sodium Chloride, Vitamin E Supplement, Niacin Supplement, Thiamine Mononitrate, Biotin, Vitamin A Acetate, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, Riboflavin Supplement, D-Pantothenate Calcium , Vitamin B12 Supplement, Vitamin D3 Supplement, Folic Acid, Magnesium Sulfate, Potassium Chloride, Zinc Proteinate, Iron Proteinate, Manganese Proteinate, Copper Proteinate, Sodium Selenite, and Calcium Iodate. Guaranteed Analysis contains 33% crude protein (min), 15% crude fat (min), 3% crude fiber (max), 10% moisture (max), 7.5% ash (max), 0.3% DHA (min.) , 3.75% omega-6 fatty acids (min.) and 0.9% omega-3 fatty acids (min.). Both omega fatty acids are not recognized by AFFCO as an essential nutrient. I love that they come in a resealable bag with velcro closure. The current price of $13.99 for a 4 pound bag is a reasonable price of $3.50 per pound.
