Review on EntityDAC by Robert Toomey
A fantastic Database Engine with minimal learning curve
The way it handles many different databases (SQL Server/Oracle etc.) seamlessly together without any problems makes me love using Entity Dac! I really wish they would expand their product line up to include more languages like Java / Python than just C# which was included in version 3 or 4 releases but not since then :( They do have some great updates every year so hopefully one day we'll get those back too :) There are very few things about EDB i don't enjoy, however most people seem happy enough when compared against others out there. We use EntitData at my work place & its amazing how easy creating new tables becomes once set within entidadtadb, along side our existing access db's, SQL server DBs all become usable straight away through ADO components instead of needing code changes. And yes, even VCL has come across much better thanks to being able fully utilise edbdatasets rather than having them.

- Good documentation online this is vital as you can easily find help with everything from simple questions such what an entity does via advanced topics.
- Very good performance vs other ORM tools that require alot less coding time
