I bought this to keep my phone in my pocket when traveling. My last phone was stolen so I was a little paranoid. The initial problem I had was that the glue wasn't strong enough. Looking at a few other reviews it doesn't look like anyone else had this problem but my adhesive came loose in front of the phone. I solved this problem by gluing the button to my case. Obviously this has a downside as it's permanent, but my case is inexpensive so it's fine. I've found the best way to attach it is to put the phone in your pocket before putting on your pants and clip the ring to the outside of your pocket. It can be a bit fiddly to pull the phone out and put it back on the magnet properly, but that's just its nature. Harder for thieves means harder for you. It holds up well enough to make me feel secure: no one could remove my phone without my knowledge.
