With baking season approaching, I decided to try the new Cookie Balls. I just received them and haven't made any batter yet, but I took them out of the box and gave them a try. I will update my rating after use if anything changes from my current 5 stars. I currently have 1 medium bucket from another brand with a different linkage. Taking out the dough was problematic as it gets stuck in the scoop which also makes cleaning difficult. The old shovel also hurts my hand more during use because it makes jerky movements rather than smooth ones. These Fayomir Cookie Balls are bold and very well made. They are very comfortable to hold and when you use the levers they move very easily and smoothly without any difficulty. Consolation is paramount to me as I have many painful illnesses. The size of the spoons is as stated by the seller. Small to medium will definitely work for cookies. A large spoon makes very large cookies and is useful for cupcake batter, fluffy ice cream, meatballs, or any other food you want to save. These balls actually make me a little less concerned about baking and I look forward to playing with them. The package arrived quickly and the balls were wrapped in a soft envelope. Each shovel comes in a separate zipped bag to keep them from getting scratched in transit. I wholeheartedly recommend trying them out as not only are they high quality and well constructed, but they are also reasonably priced.
