Let's hope it's a good surge protector
If you chose this surge protector for the USB ports, look elsewhere. Neither USB port provides enough power for everything I plugged into them. I tried USB-C for my phone, which only took 45 minutes with a standard charger and delivered so little power that the phone indicated a problem with the charger and the expected time for a full charge was over 5 hours. I tried powering a small LED light with a standard USB but it couldn't even supply enough current to properly light it. I have two of these, so it's not just an anomaly.
