Review on 🎧 Enhanced SanDisk 8GB Clip Sport MP3 Player: Vibrant Lime Design, LCD Screen, FM Radio - Discover SDMX24-008G-G46L! by James Lesley

Almost right, but about 30% more expensive for "fast ".

Benefits:* Plays a variety of formats including Ogg Vorbis and mp3* Access to USB storage so no special drivers required.* Small size* Light weight* Built-in clamp* Expandable memory* Wireless receiver for gym audio. Cons: * I bought for $40 which is too much considering the following cons. * The soft power button works fine in my pocket or bag and completely drains the non-removable battery, so I find my device dead when I want to use it. * The screen quality is terrible and I have to waste my battery showing me album covers I don't care about and lyrics I can barely read. * The interface - both software and physical - is clunky. I have to look at the device more often to skip songs, navigate menus, or switch playlists. Suggestions for improvement: * A low-power E Ink monochrome display would be much easier to read than the current color LCD and increase my willingness to pay for the device * Give me a real power button, not a button to be pressed in my pocket.* Give The buttons have a clear feel so I can easily find them and know by feel when they've been pressed, even during a workout. *Let me turn off the cover art and other graphics for a nicer text-only reading. * Let me create a context menu of the 8 or so items (playlists, radio stations, etc.) that I use the most and make it very accessible. * It is better to document the procedure/format of creating playlists. I figured it out, but less-technical users might not get it. General Notes: If all of the above suggestions were implemented, this would be a 5-star $40 device. Do it all and add a bit of ruggedness (waterproof, aluminum body) while still being expandable, or bump the storage up to 16GB or more and it's a 5-star device for $50. Currently, Clip Sport is a decent audio player for workouts or other scenarios where a smartphone would be too big/clunky to carry around comfortably. I've been using SanDisk players for a long time, primarily because they conveniently support my mixed format music library. However, the lack of a power button on the Clip Sport means I find myself dying of battery about half the time I want to use this. This, combined with the clunky user interface left me very disappointed. If Sandisk worked a little better, I'd have five of them at home, not just one.
