Stylish, comfortable, affordable

These are super comfortable to slip into, are true to size (I wear a 7.5, and got these in an 8 in order to wear a thin sock), and they fit my larger calves. The fleece lining is pretty and warm. I gave four stars because of two things: 1) you really have no idea what they’re made of - the inner tag says "suede”. The description says "cashmere” or "cashmere suede”, and yet another description says "cow suede”. I’m assuming it’s manmade material, but who knows? and 2) somewhere way, way down in the description the manufacturers say "don’t wear on a rainy day”. Huh? These are marketed as snow boots. Snow = wet. Are they waterproof or water repellent or not? I’m pre-treating them just to be sure.
