Expect multiple batteries
On October 3rd I put 3 new Duracell alkaline batteries in the units and as of October 17th they have been in need of replacement. The light becomes very weak. I like the look, but the power consumption is too high for only three batteries. I bought 7 filaments in total which equals 21 batteries that need to be changed about every two weeks if I want the light to look bright. Turning on the lights for 6 hours a day with a timer is quite expensive.
- IP65 Waterproof and Timer Control: In 2021, we upgraded the battery case to IP65 waterproof. The IP65 rating means they can withstand most weather conditions if you use them outdoors. The battery pack has a 6 hour auto timer, it turns off after 6 hours of lighting and back on after 18 hours
