Very good aluminum housing for M.2 card! What attracted me in this case was the built-in fan, the ability to connect to Thunderbolt 3 or Type-C to USB, as well as the LED screen that shows the temperature! I paired this with a 1TB Samsung 970 EVO Plus SSD. Installation was a breeze! Unlike most cases where you secure the SSD with a screw. It has a built-in latch that keeps the SSD in place. I noticed that after connecting to my laptop, the fan automatically turns on and stays on. I figured the fan would only turn on when it reached a certain temperature and then turn off when it dropped to a certain temperature. I'm not sure if this is a regular feature, but that's just my sophistication! A slight humming can be heard when the fan is switched on, but it is hardly audible.
