I have reviewed many different vegetable cutters. And that seemed to be it. But after slicing a small potato with the product, the blades were unable to completely cut through the potato. Not only that, the potato continued to move obliquely even though I placed it in the center of the object. When I tried to press on the object, it was very difficult for the blades to cut through the potatoes. I called my husband to try to negotiate because he's a tough guy. And he also found it difficult to press down on the object to sever the blades. Some of the potatoes barely cut through and the rest were just mashed on the side. Complete waste. Returned!
