I have an old (Late 2013) Macbook Pro that still runs like clockwork (ahh, good ole that if the company I work for allows you to keep your old laptop when they upgrade to a updated newer version. Apparently they changed this policy a long time ago). The only thing is that the battery does not last more than an hour. Therefore, it must be constantly connected to the network. Trade value on Apple's website was $85. I will not use the full price of this laptop for an OEM charger. I have 2 OEM chargers and both have damaged cables. Yes this charger has a shorter cord but for my use (my office) it works great for 1/4 the OEM price. Loads fast. There is no problem with a full charge when Macbook is connected to it. Works great for my needs.
