These are great, well-made work out shorts. The fabric is stretchy, but not loose, and it's very breathable. I wear a size 24 in jeans, but ordered these in a 4x because I was worried that they would have to really stretch to fit. But the sizing is quite generous. I could have comfortably worn a size 3x instead. The length of the shorts is a little longer than I'd like, but if I had a smaller size, they'd fit more snugly and I could just pull them up a little. As it is, they fall just to the top of my knees (I'm short) and feel kind of loose at the knee. I generally don't wear workout shorts as shorts outside of the house because of my body shape, and these are no exception. But they are great for around the house or under a dress. The fact that I can carry my pocket with no worries is a huge factor in my love for them. My Galaxy S9+ fit easily into my pocket and didn't feel at any point in the day like it was going to fall when I moved or got up or down from sitting.
