I ALMOST had to go to the ER with a cut I sustained from a utility knife while trying to cut through the thick plastic packaging of this pup's bank vault. There are no instructions on how to open it safely, and I couldn't figure it out, so I used a stationery knife. I had to press hard enough to make it slip and the rest can be added. I understand the need to protect yourself from theft, but now it's gone too far - this is far from the only inexpensive product with the same problem. And I have scars to prove it. The second issue is the sliding locking button. I bought it for my wife and she can't seem to lock it. Using my strong thumb I can usually get it down, but it's MUCH harder to snap in than the old Stanley it replaces.
