Many years ago I had a sandwich maker that worked great. So no. Started smoking in less than a minute. There's no power button - when it's plugged in it turns on, and to turn it off you have to unplug it. My sandwich was burned around the edges of the grill but completely white and undercooked elsewhere. I'm sad but that's what I get once I've chosen the light fixture because it's pink! ππ₯
