TLDR below. That's the problem. A lot of people say they aren't very tall, but that's the height of pretty much all foam stickers like this one. It's not necessary to layer them in two unless you want them to stand out strongly and I don't do that unless I'm doing something big, like the whole piece of paper and not just one thing open the piece of paper. Another thing is that I don't find them particularly difficult, but I think it's just because I have tweezers to use them with. I don't spoil anything that way, and I don't spoil the whole site, and the reviews say there's a lot of empty space between the circles, and all of that can be used too. It's easy to peel off the backing and then all you have to do is cut it to size and you have literally twice as many foam stickers as you normally would. I really like them in general. TLDR: They are great and all the bad reviews are mostly user error.
