SecondQuarter Ventures is a secondary venture fund

Good day to all. Today I will share my feedback on one secondary venture fund, SecondQuarter Ventures. Its main goal is to provide liquidity to shareholders of the most interesting Australian startups after SeriasA. The founders of this everlasting foundation are Leigh Jasper, Ian Beatty, Andrew Sypkes, David Tarascio and James McQueen. In addition to co-founders, they are also considered investors and entrepreneurs in SecondQuarter Ventures. They provide transition capital for founders, employees, shareholders and of course professional investors. These operations are referred to as secondary operations, which is why SecondQuarter Ventures is also known as the first secondary fund in Australia / New Zealand, focusing mainly on venture capital investments and entrepreneurs.

Based on the above, we can summarize that SecondQuarter Ventures is both Secondary Purchaser and Venture Capital. Regarding their portfolio, I can say that it is not as extensive as that of other funds, but perhaps this is because they have not been functioning for so long. And if you look at it from the other side, we all know that the main thing is not quantity but quality. On their official website you will find a portfolio graph and find that they are investing in just three outstanding companies that also operate in Australia: Athena Home Loans, Blackbird Chapter 2, Equiem. Regarding the approach of this venture capital fund, I can focus my attention on looking for people who will not depend on the sector, as they are attracted by companies with fast-growing revenues and with venture support, while emphasizing that they are in the growth stage. They claim that their process is transparent, efficient and inclusive.

Did you know that SecondQuarter Ventures secured $ 51 million to offer yet another startup funding option, and offered a way to free up wealth for early founders and investors? If not, then you are now informed. I want to note that this fund buys shares from existing investors in order to invest in the business, regardless of whether it is the first employees or the first sponsors or even the first founders. Summing up, we get that, according to their idea, the part of the liquidity in business can be released if there is no need to enter the public market. Let's take an example here, by listing on ASX. As for their website, it should be noted that they use 11 technologies, including also the IPhone / Mobile Compatible, Viewport Meta, and SPF.
