Hey everyone, to give some time back to the Mac folks. If you only have VGA and HDMI, the second display will not be recognized. Also, I bought a VGA to USB-C adapter and plugged it into a different Thunderbolt port and it recognized the second display. The document works fine, but for a long time I couldn't figure out why it only mirrored the first display (although there was no mirror checkbox in the display settings). I have Macbook Pro 2020 on Big Sur. Tldr; Again, this could be because I tried using HDMI and VGA, but don't lose hope if you're like me. Just buy an adapter to connect to another Thunderbolt port.
