me. New Balance is my favorite brand and this shoe did not disappoint. The sole has sufficient cushioning, especially in the heel area. On my first walk in these shoes, I suddenly realized how good the heel is - fantastic cushioning that keeps my feet from sinking into it. My feet feel great after an hour on the pavement - comfortable and with good support. Shoes are lightweight and breathable for running or other strenuous activities. I find that with NB shoes I need to buy half a size up for optimal comfort. I'm glad to have these sneakers! Update November 24, 2021: The sneakers are already starting to wear out. Of course I wear them almost every day and I have a hard time wearing sneakers but it's only been 4 1/2 months. The tread wears noticeably and now there is a small hole where my thumb touches the grille. This is the beginning of the end.
