It was very difficult for me to sleep in my new apartment. Every night I woke up drenched in sweat. My windows are not set to AC. I have AC but it only goes down to 72. Hell yeah? I live in Southern California. Not perfect. So I bought it to find an inexpensive alternative. Even though it was very small, I put it across from the bed and it helped! Adding ice cubes every night was excruciating, but I didn't care - I wanted to sleep! Everything was fine until a week later when I noticed that the metal parts that connect the top and bottom and make it work are already corroded! A white-green crust could be seen on the wires. I didn't want to risk burning down my new apartment and unfortunately I returned it the next day. If I hadn't noticed, I think it would be a major security issue. Please work better with the mechanics! The idea is good, but extremely dangerous.
