After using this brush once and attempting to clean it I noticed quite a few boars hairs came out. Over time this doesn’t seem to be sustainable as several came out while brushing my hair and many came out while cleaning it. The nylon bristles that are in between the rows of longer boars hair and longer nylon tuft are not rounded off and feel quite scratchy on my head. It’s not entirely unpleasant (kind of like a vigorous scalp rub) but I hope they soften in time. The longer nylon bristles that are located within each tuft of boars hair are rounded at the end and are still a bit scratchy.I bought this since it had a better handle than other round brushes with boars hair. However, the scratchy sensation and the loss of the boars hairs concern me. I’ve had better brushes, but with worse handles. So only time will tell if the boars hair bristles stay in place and if the nylon bristles soften over time.
