They are easy to assemble and the real plus is that you can assemble them using the connectors already on the cable. I bought some of these to connect the Christmas light controllers. I haven't seen any sign of a leak on any of them. Haven't tried them underwater but they work well as rain protection. They're a bit pricey, but they're no more expensive than the competition.
