I ordered these a month ago when my Brother printer told me it was running low on magenta. They arrived quickly and looked good. Magenta ran out yesterday, it's time to replace the cartridge. It installed easily, but left some magenta powder residue on the printer's lid and on my hands. I continued to work with it, wiping away the little mess. When I tried to print this morning, the entire page was covered in magenta. I took out the cartridge and drum; The barrel and sleeve were coated with red powder. I cleaned both and reinstalled Magenta. After almost 2 dozen test pages and 3 or 4 more drum and cartridge cleanings, I still get a slightly pink test page with a 0.33 inch red stripe down the right side of the page. I am so very disappointed in the product. I loved being able to look inside the ink tank on the cartridge, but that doesn't help much if you can't print your newsletter! I may have to pay extra for official Brother cartridges, but at least I don't have to suffer the mess this cartridge has caused. I haven't used any other colors but I'm not sure what I want. I'll probably return the whole mess! I reviewed this product a few days ago but felt I needed to add this supplement. Today I sent all 4 cartridges back. I only used magenta but it messed up my printer so much that I ended up buying "compressed air", another printer drum and an official Brother printer cartridge. It cost over $100 and I didn't have to spend. This product had such a good review but I seem to have settled on lemon. I gave 1 star because it was not possible to review and not rate it.
