Very disappointed with the covers for clothes

The item had an unpleasant odor that I couldn't get rid of. I left them outside to air, I put scented dryer sheets inside. I even put dryer sheets on no heat just to try and freshen them up. Nothing worked. They still had the smell. They even sniffed my house where they were. I ended up throwing them away. Now that bad smell is gone. Needless to say I was very disappointed.
