Great food for growing turtles! I have two red stud earrings, both are 5 years old and love them! These pellets are quite large if you look at your thumbnail you will see it is about 1/4 the size so I would not recommend it for young turtles as they will suffocate if swallowed whole. However, pellets left in the tank for more than a day will cause your tank to smell and leave a greasy residue. So remove leftover food after your turtles have eaten.
