I have a cat that pees in certain spots all the time. No health problem. mental. That being said, this material was made by ZIPPO when used as directed to remove urine odor FOR ME, not to mention my cat didn't have to re-mark the area. I didn't expect it to work for her sensitive olfactory system, just mine, and it didn't. I left it for the maximum suggested time, used it for several days in a row and it didn't work. I vacuumed it up and immediately returned to its place before the cat had time to stain it and although it was weaker it didn't go anywhere like others have said so I have to wonder if they aren't sensitive. snoopers like me. I can get the same results with a cheap box of carpet powder from a baking powder company.
