First off, these boots look great. I didn't want to expose them to the harshest chemicals. The most important thing is that I wear size 14 shoes/boots and after a few days they seem a bit big to me. I think thicker socks could (hopefully) fill them. The socks I usually wear to work are a little over a year or so old. I tried these. There seems to be enough space in the toe area. I may have rubbed my pinky toe on my right foot a little, but I walk strangely. But there's definitely more room than other steel fingers I've tried. I'm 6ft 2cm and 240# tall. I've had them for a week now and I love them but I think I need thicker socks. We work with a lot of nasty chemicals and occasionally deep puddles form on our floors, so I'm concerned. I sprayed them with water repellent silicone spray. but some of the things we work with eat through silicone so I'm a little worried. They are better than the survivors from Herman. I will update in a month.
