Review on Cirillo KitchenAid Mixer Spiralizer Accessory - Automatic Spiralizer, Convenient Oversized Loading Chute, Dishwasher Safe by Emily Wilson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Much easier than other methods I've tried for zoodles.

I had a manual spiralizer that was utterly useless and one of the manual ones with a crank that worked but was awkward to use. I've resorted to a hand julienne appliance when I wanted a zipper, but this spiralizer gives the best results of all. Note that you will end up with REALLY long zucchini so you can cut them into chunks to make them easier to eat. He'll end up spitting out a dodgy core, and there really isn't much waste. All parts that need to be washed fit in the top rack of my dishwasher. It was also very easy to attach to my blender - I have a 4.5 liter tilt head kitchen helper that's about 20 years old if that helps you make a decision. I've used it 3 or 4 times on fairly large zucchini and have been happy with the results. I don't have much time to comment on durability. Haven't tried it on other vegetables and have only used the medium blade. I'll update if anything notable happens when I do.

Pros
  • Kitchen and Dining Room
Cons
  • Exorbitant piggy bank
