I changed the engine on my 2002 Honda Recon and the good engine needed a new carburetor. I found this one online and bought it instead of restoring the old one. Big mistake! Those carbs are no good. I installed a new carburetor and my bike could have gone to the moon if it hadn't choked. This problem continued after countless removals, cleaning, fuel tank flushing, installing an in-line filter and checking for air leaks. The idle screw does nothing. I even glued the air intake to the vent. Still couldn't choke him. This carb is giving off too much gas, that's all I can say because the overflow hose keeps dumping all the gas on the floor. No, the float is not stuck and there is no gas in it. Yes, I blew into the fuel inlet and raised the float, it closed as it should. No, the throttle is not stuck. Purchase at your own risk. After a lot of research, I found out that many people have major problems with these Chinese carbohydrates. If your old home is safe and sound, rebuilding it is better than buying this crap.
