I keep one of these round flat silicone lids on the countertop to put on Ninja Foodi's removable pressure lid when not in use. (I use my Foodi every day, so I don't keep it in the closet.) This works well but takes up a lot of space. I still need a flexible lid when I'm really cooking and need to remove the hot lid and put it aside, but when I'm not cooking this lid holder is perfect for freeing up countertop space. The lid holder is too short to keep the press-on lid off the counter so an improvement could be to make it a little taller so it can be used to hold the lid off the countertop when it's off and the crisper Lid inside is use. However, tests must be carried out to ensure that the overall height still fits all wall units. I see a lot of people asking if they want to remove this lid holder from an attached fruit lid. I don't know for sure, but common sense tells me that covering the vents in the lid while cooking would not be a good idea. I just take it off when I take off the pressure cap.
